1. Scope and Program Sponsor

Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates SMS and text messaging programs on behalf of our web properties, applications, and services. This document applies to the properties listed in our Covered Properties notice, which is incorporated by reference.

These SMS & Text Messaging Terms (these "SMS Terms") govern your enrollment in and use of any text messaging program we operate. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not opt in, or opt out using the instructions in Section 6.

The short version

We text you only after you opt in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

2. Program Description

We operate both transactional and marketing text messaging programs. Depending on which programs you opt into and which of our services you use, the messages you receive may include:

  • Transactional and service messages: order and purchase confirmations, receipts, shipping and delivery updates, subscription renewal and payment notices, account and security alerts, password or sign-in verification codes, and responses to support requests you initiate
  • Course and learning messages: enrollment confirmations, lesson and cohort reminders, live session or event notices, assignment and progress nudges, and completion or certificate notifications
  • Community updates: notices related to The Story Haven and our other community platforms, including invitations, group or room announcements, and moderation or policy notices that affect your account
  • Marketing and promotional messages, where you have opted in: new course and product announcements, ministry updates, devotional or encouragement messages, event invitations, special offers, and fundraising or campaign appeals

Not every program sends every message type. Some programs are limited to a single purpose — for example, a course reminder series or a one-time event notification — and the description presented at the point of opt-in controls what that specific program sends.

3. Consent and How You Opt In

We send text messages only to mobile numbers for which we have obtained consent. Consent is collected through one or more of the following methods:

  • Web forms: submitting your mobile number on a sign-up, registration, lead, waitlist, or preference form on one of our properties that discloses the program and links to these SMS Terms
  • Checkout and account settings: providing your mobile number and affirmatively selecting a text-message option during checkout, enrollment, or in your account or notification preferences
  • Keyword opt-in: texting a published keyword to a number or short code we advertise, which constitutes your request to join that program
  • Verbal or written request: asking us directly, in writing or during a support interaction, to enroll your number in a specific program

Records of consent. We retain records of your opt-in, including the mobile number, the program joined, the opt-in method and source, and the date and time. We also retain records of any opt-out, so that we can honor it going forward. These records are kept for as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance and to maintain our do-not-contact list, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You must own the number. By providing a mobile number, you represent that you are the subscriber of that number or are authorized by the subscriber to enroll it. If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, you agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] so that we do not text the new holder of that number.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the programs you have joined, your activity, your purchases, and your account settings. Transactional messages are sent in response to events — such as placing an order or requesting a verification code — and are therefore driven by your own activity. Marketing and community messages are sent periodically and may increase around launches, events, or campaigns.

Where a specific program advertises an expected frequency at the point of opt-in — for example, a set number of messages per month or a fixed reminder series — that disclosure applies to that program.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply

We do not charge you for our text messages, but your mobile carrier may. Standard message and data rates may apply to every message sent to or received from us, according to your plan with your wireless provider. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about the cost of text messages or data usage on your plan.

Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless provider, and neither we nor your carrier guarantee that every message will be delivered, or delivered without delay. Messages may not be available on all carriers or all devices.

6. HELP, STOP, and Re-Subscribing

6.1 Getting help (HELP)

For help with any of our text programs, reply HELP to the number you received messages from, and we will respond with program information and a contact point. You may also email [email protected] at any time. Support by email is available whether or not you are currently subscribed.

6.2 Opting out (STOP)

You may cancel at any time. Reply to the number you received messages from with any of the following keywords:

  • STOP
  • STOPALL
  • UNSUBSCRIBE
  • CANCEL
  • END
  • QUIT

After you send one of these keywords, we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop sending messages from that program to that number. You may also opt out by emailing [email protected] with your mobile number and a request to stop text messages.

What opting out does and does not do

Opting out stops text messages. It does not cancel a paid subscription, close your account, or unsubscribe you from email. To cancel a subscription or request a refund, see our Terms of Service and the refunds policy linked there. Depending on how our programs are provisioned, replying STOP to one number may stop only the messages sent from that number; if you continue to receive texts from us after opting out, email [email protected] and we will apply the opt-out across our systems.

6.3 Re-subscribing

If you change your mind, you can rejoin by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to the number you previously received messages from, where that number supports re-subscription, or by opting in again through any of the methods described in Section 3. Re-joining restarts your consent from the date of the new opt-in.

7. Carrier Liability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not responsible for the content of our messages, and your carrier is not the sender of these messages. Supported carriers may change without notice, and message delivery may be affected by network conditions, device settings, roaming, or number portability.

8. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase

Marketing texts are always optional

You are not required to agree to receive marketing text messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. You may buy any course, product, or subscription and participate fully in our services without opting in to marketing texts, and declining or later opting out will not affect your pricing, access, or eligibility.

Certain transactional messages — such as a one-time verification code you request, or a security alert about your account — are tied to a service you have asked us to provide. If you opt out of texts entirely, we will deliver those notices by another channel, such as email, where a substitute is available.

9. Privacy

Your mobile number, opt-in and opt-out records, and message engagement data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile number or SMS consent, and we do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We do use service providers to deliver text messages on our behalf, and those providers process your number solely to transmit messages for us. If you are a California resident, our Notice at Collection & Do Not Sell or Share explains the categories of personal information we collect and how to exercise do-not-sell and do-not-share options.

10. Eligibility and Age

Our text programs are intended for use in the United States, and you must be old enough to use our services under our Terms of Service to enroll. Do not enroll a mobile number that you do not control, and do not enroll on behalf of another person without their permission.

11. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms to reflect changes in our programs, our providers, or applicable law and industry requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date shown at the top of this page. Your continued participation in a text program after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; if you do not agree, opt out using the instructions in Section 6.

12. Contact Us

Questions about our text messaging programs, or trouble opting out? Contact us at [email protected] and include the mobile number involved so we can locate the record.
