Storyteller Purchase & Release Terms

1. Scope and Precedence

These Storyteller Purchase & Release Terms (the "Purchase Terms") apply when you purchase a product, course, digital download, or other paid offer and the seller is a Storyteller using a Grace Unworthy platform, including The Story Haven.

These Purchase Terms do not apply when Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC is itself the seller. Platform-sold items remain governed by our Terms of Service, Refunds & Cancellations Policy, and any other applicable policy.

These Purchase Terms supplement our Terms of Service. On general platform use, account rules, and matters that are not specific to a Storyteller sale, the Terms of Service control. On the identity of the seller, refund authority for Storyteller-sold items, release of Grace Unworthy, and the dispute path for a Storyteller purchase, these Purchase Terms control. The Storyteller Agreement binds the Storyteller and Grace Unworthy; it does not replace these Purchase Terms as between you and Grace Unworthy.

2. Grace Unworthy Is a Platform Provider, Not the Seller

Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC ("Grace Unworthy," "we," "our," or "us") operates software, hosting, checkout, and related platform services. When a Storyteller sells an item through those services, Grace Unworthy is a platform provider. Grace Unworthy is not the seller, merchant of record, or a party to the contract between you and the Storyteller.

• Listing, hosting, or collecting payment on behalf of a Storyteller is not an endorsement of the Storyteller, the offer, or any claim the Storyteller makes.
• We do not guarantee that we have independently vetted the Storyteller's content, credentials, theology, professional qualifications, or fulfillment practices.
• We may display the Storyteller's name, image, or community affiliation to identify the seller. That display does not make Grace Unworthy the seller.

3. The Storyteller Is Solely Responsible

The Storyteller is solely responsible for the offer you purchase, including:

• content, accuracy, quality, and delivery;
• licensing, permissions, and intellectual-property clearance;
• claims, marketing statements, testimonials, and representations;
• any professional, pastoral, counseling, medical, legal, or financial advice the Storyteller provides or implies;
• taxes, invoices, and other obligations that arise from the sale.

Storyteller content is not a substitute for professional advice. You should not rely on it as personalized pastoral care, therapy, medical treatment, legal counsel, or financial planning.

4. Refunds

Only the Storyteller may authorize a refund for a Storyteller-sold item. Grace Unworthy has no refund obligation for those items and no authority to compel the Storyteller to issue one. Direct refund requests to the Storyteller.

Chargebacks and payment-network disputes remain subject to our Refunds & Cancellations Policy (including the chargeback section) and to the processor's rules. A chargeback against a Storyteller-sold item does not create a refund duty on Grace Unworthy. The Storyteller remains responsible for chargebacks, as stated in the Storyteller Agreement (section 18).

Platform-sold items continue to follow the refund rules in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy. If a cart contains both platform-sold and Storyteller-sold items, refund authority is determined line by line.

5. No Defense, Support, or Indemnity from Grace Unworthy

If you and a Storyteller have a dispute about a Storyteller-sold item, Grace Unworthy has no duty to:

• defend you or the Storyteller;
• provide legal support, investigation, or advocacy;
• indemnify either of you against claims, losses, or attorneys' fees arising out of that dispute.

We may, in our discretion, provide limited platform records (for example, order timestamps) when required by law or when both parties ask us to convene the Biblical Dispute Resolution Policy. Doing so is not a duty to defend and is not an admission of liability.

6. Release and Covenant Not to Sue

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC and all covered properties from any claim, demand, damages, or liability arising out of Storyteller content, Storyteller-sold items, Storyteller fulfillment or non-fulfillment, or your relationship with a Storyteller.

This release includes Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC and every property listed in our Covered Properties notice.

This release covers claims in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, and equity, whether known or unknown, except claims that the law does not allow you to release in advance.

You also covenant not to sue, join, or otherwise name Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC or a covered property as a defendant, respondent, or third-party in a dispute that is, in substance, with a Storyteller about Storyteller content or a Storyteller-sold item.

7. Material Breach

Naming Grace Unworthy Ministries, LLC or a covered property in a dispute that is, in substance, with a Storyteller about Storyteller content or a Storyteller-sold item, after you have agreed to these Purchase Terms, is a material breach of this covenant.

7.1 Remedies

If a material breach occurs, Grace Unworthy may:

• seek dismissal, stay, or severance of claims asserted against it;
• recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs incurred because it was named;
• claim indemnity from you for those fees, costs, and any resulting judgment or settlement attributable to the improper joinder.

Account action (including suspension or termination) is discretionary, not automatic. We may consider the circumstances, including whether you promptly dismissed Grace Unworthy after notice.

7.2 What this section does not restrict

Nothing in this section limits your right to:

• report crime, abuse, child exploitation, or imminent harm to law enforcement or child-protection authorities;
• file a complaint with a regulator or consumer-protection agency;
• bring an individual claim in small-claims court where it qualifies;
• bring a claim about Grace Unworthy's own conduct (for example, a platform billing error, an unauthorized disclosure by us, or our failure to provide the platform services we promised).

8. Dispute Path

For a dispute arising out of a Storyteller purchase, you agree to the following order:

• First: attempt direct resolution with the Storyteller.
• Second: if both you and the Storyteller consent, use the Biblical Dispute Resolution Policy. That path is voluntary. It never requires you to meet privately with someone who has harmed you, and it never delays a report to law enforcement.
• Third: the informal-resolution and binding individual arbitration provisions in our Terms of Service (section 13), including the class-action waiver and any small-claims exception.

Completing a good-faith attempt under the Biblical Dispute Resolution Policy may satisfy the informal-resolution condition precedent in Terms section 13.1, as described in that policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grace Unworthy's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to a Storyteller purchase, Storyteller content, or these Purchase Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. This cap is in addition to, and does not expand, the limitations in our Terms of Service.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of Storyteller content or Storyteller-sold items, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

10. Acceptance and Changes

These Purchase Terms are version 2026-09-20. We record your acceptance, including the version and a content fingerprint, at checkout when a Storyteller-sold item is in your order.

When we publish a new version that materially changes your rights or obligations, we will update the Last Updated date and the version identifier. We may require you to accept the current version before completing a later Storyteller purchase. Prior purchases remain governed by the version you accepted for that purchase.

These Purchase Terms are effective as of the Effective Date shown above.
